Submit Comments on the League’s 2027 Draft Legislative Policy Recommendations
The League of Minnesota Cities is seeking member input on its 2027 legislative policy recommendations. The policy recommendations are a product of the League’s legislative policy committee process and guide its lobbying efforts. Members are encouraged to review the recommended changes and submit commentary by Oct. 28.

More than 150 officials from around the state met this past summer to do discuss issues facing their cities as part of the League’s policy committee process. These discussions shaped the League’s 2027 legislative policy recommendations which include additional new policy priorities, deletions, and changes to existing policies.

Final adoption of legislative policy priorities
After Oct. 28, member comments will be collected for consideration by the League’s Board of Directors. The League’s Board will consider member comments and vote on final adoption of the League policies on Nov. 5. The approved policies will then be published on the League’s website in a document called the 2027 City Policies.
