How to save a PDF

If you would like to save the page you’re viewing as a PDF document, here are the steps:

  1. Click icon with 3 stacked dots Setting button with vertical dots / Setting button with horizontal dots or Setting button with stacked lines lines to the right of the URL bar at the top of your browser
  2. Select the “Print” option
  3. A pop up window like this one should appear, ensure the Destination field is set to “Save as PDF” (this may be a dropdown or “Change” button)
  4. Click “Save,” then select the location and name for the file on your computer

Connect With Job Seekers at the People of Color Career Fair

The League of Minnesota Cities is inviting city staff to join its booth at the People of Color Career Fair to recruit talent and share the benefits of working for a city.

The League of Minnesota Cities is inviting member cities to participate in the People of Color Career Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Cities can staff a spot in the League’s booth at no cost, giving your staff an opportunity to meet job seekers and share what makes a career in city government rewarding.

The People of Color Career Fair attracts a diverse pool of talent, from recent college graduates, mid-career professionals, and seasoned candidates looking for their next opportunity. By participating, your city can connect with candidates face-to-face, promote open positions, and introduce job seekers to the variety of career paths available in local government.

Represent your city

Each participating city may send one representative for the full day or split the day between two staff members, with one representative in the booth at a time. Priority will be given to cities that have not participated previously.

The League aims to include representatives from a variety of departments, including human resources, communications, finance, parks and recreation, public works, and public safety. Having different areas of city government represented helps job seekers learn about the breadth of opportunities available and have more meaningful conversations about specific career paths.

Additional information:

  • Lunch will be provided.
  • Parking is available in nearby ramps or on the street.
  • Attire is business professional. Public safety professionals are encouraged to wear their uniforms
