This course provides elected officials with the knowledge and skills to apply Minnesota’s Open Meeting Law. You’ll also learn tips for how to work together as a council in making decisions and setting policy.
By completing this course, you will:
- Gain an appreciation for the concept of Open Meeting Law.
- Understand Open Meeting Law requirements.
- Learn how to be able to recognize the exceptions to the Open Meeting Law and know how to comply with the procedures that the law sets forth.
