Regional Safety Groups: Loss Control Workshops are free for cities participating in Regional Safety Groups. Select “Regional Safety Group Member” during registration.
Continuing education credits
The following credits have been approved for 2026:
- Peace officers can earn 3 POST credits for attending the morning Police Track.
- Wastewater operators can earn 2.5 hours of indirect contact hours for attending the morning Public Works & Parks and Recreation track, and an additional 3 credit hours for attending the afternoon Safety Committees track. 5.5 indirect hours total.
- Water operators can earn 3 hours of credit for attending the morning Public Works & Parks and Recreation track, and an additional 3 credit hours for attending the afternoon Safety Committees track. 6 credits total.
- Insurance agents/adjusters can earn 2.75 credits for attending a morning track, and 3.0 credits for attending one of the afternoon tracks in full. 5.75 hours total.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be sent via email to [email protected] seven (7) business days prior to the workshop. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this date.
If you are unable to attend, please consider sending a substitute. Substitutions are permitted up to the day of the event. Please notify staff at the check-in desk of any on-site substitutions.
