City leaders care about their communities and are focused on finding effective ways to improve services and create welcoming, engaged cities where people want to live, work, and play. But knowing how to do that — and what to implement to be effective — can be challenging. That’s why this five-day learning challenge is designed to be simple and easy.
How does it work?
Each day for five days you will receive an email with resources you can choose from to learn about that day’s topic. The topics vary and relate to city services with a focus on creating a city that is welcoming and engaging. There are multiple resources for each topic to provide a variety of opportunities to read, watch, and listen.
If you are looking for more, the section labeled “dive deeper” on each day’s email provides an opportunity to interact with lengthier resources such as toolkits, guides, and recorded webinars to further explore how you might apply the topic in your work.
Ultimately, cities have different needs, challenges, and goals. A variety of resources are provided. Use what is useful, leave what is not.
