NLC Offers Free Training to Help Cities Secure Federal Infrastructure Funds

April 22, 2024

The National League of Cities (NLC) is offering a free training program to help city staff learn to develop and submit winning applications for federal infrastructure funds.

The program, called Local Infrastructure Hub, is aimed at helping small to mid-size communities that do not have the staff capacity or expertise to apply for federal funds. Since the program began in 2022, cities across the nation that participated in the trainings — including several in Minnesota — have secured more than $200 million in federal grants.

Learn about Local Infrastructure Hub.

Free trainings this spring will help communities secure funding in areas like bridge investment, railroad crossing improvements and safety improvements, solid waste infrastructure for recycling, brownfields, and removing transportation that increases connectivity in communities.

Register your city for the Local Infrastructure Hub Bootcamps. Registration ends May 15.
