Affordable, convenient, and engaging safety training for your employees.
Effective Jan. 1, 2021, FirstNet Learning became NEOGOV Safety Training.
The League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust (LMCIT) is offering web-based training provided by NEOGOV to all its members.
Members can access more than 200 online training courses covering a wide variety of safety topics, including driver safety, cybersecurity, bloodborne pathogens, and much more. The courses provide basic training for new employees, as well as refresher training for experienced and seasonal employees. Employees will be able to complete these interactive training courses anytime, anywhere using a tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.

Cost
We have a minimum payment of $350, which will cover up to 10 users. There is a $35/user fee for each additional user. Regional Safety Group members have free access.
To Get Started
- If you’re already a registered user with NEOGOV, you can access the web-based training courses.
- If you’re not a registered user with NEOGOV:
- If your city participates in a Regional Safety Group, contact LMCIT Operations Specialist Sarah Fredericks at neogov@lmc.org or (651) 281-1228 to begin the enrollment process.
- If your city does not participate in a Regional Safety Group, email Doug Madgic at dmadgic@neogov.net to begin the enrollment process. You will be required to make payment with a credit card.
