Join us for this year’s Legislative Update! It’s the same conference but in a brand-new location—and in conjunction with the League of Minnesota Cities Annual Conference.

This summer’s day-long Minnesota Association of City Attorneys Legislative Update will feature civil, criminal, and judicial updates by well-informed speakers. You’ll also have an opportunity to earn elimination of bias credits with an engaging session on transgender human and legal issues.



Registration Fee: $175 / Onsite: $200

Continuing Legal Education (CLE): Earn six (6) CLE's when you attend this Legislative Update—four (4) standard and two (2) elimination of bias (approved by the Minnesota State Board of Continuing Legal Education).

Time: 8 a.m.-4:15 p.m. (Check-in/breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m.)

Attire: You wouldn’t wear a suit to the lake, so no need to wear one here! Business casual is highly encouraged—we want you to be relaxed and ready to learn.

While the hotel headquarters for the Legislative Update is at PierB, the League’s Annual Conference is taking place Wednesday, June 26 through Friday, June 28 at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC).

You’re invited to attend some of the League’s functions, including:

  • The Wednesday evening exhibit hall kick-off celebration at the DECC anytime during the 4:30-7:30 p.m. hours that it is open.
  • The Thursday evening Awards Show cash bar reception at the DECC from 4:30-5 p.m., as well as the Awards Show and Dinner from 5-6:45 p.m.
