City Input Needed for State Invasive Species Management Plan

October 12, 2020

Please take the invasive species survey by Nov. 13.

The Minnesota Invasive Species Advisory Council (MISAC) is beginning the process of updating the state invasive species management plan and would like input from cities.

The updated plan will include a summary of key invasive species prevention and management efforts planned in Minnesota in the next five years, how those efforts will be monitored and evaluated, and current invasive species prevention and management priorities.

MISAC is surveying invasive species partners, including cities, to inform the aspects of the plan listed above. Is your city planning a groundbreaking invasive species project that should be included in the state plan? Please take the survey by Nov. 13.
