Deadline for Electric Vehicle Readiness Program Consideration Is Jan. 17
The voluntary recognition program provides communities with a roadmap to EV readiness.
The Great Plains Institute (GPI) recently launched the EV (Electric Vehicle) Smart Cities and Native Nations program in Minnesota, funded by the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s Clean Transportation Pilot Program.
GPI designed the voluntary recognition program to provide communities with a roadmap to EV readiness and help them achieve EV readiness goals by offering individual technical assistance, best practices, and actions that make it possible for cities of any size or location to participate.

- Cities looking for more information about the program can download the EV Smart Cities Program fact sheet (pdf).
