League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust Asks Members to Take a Cybersecurity Survey

April 19, 2021

The survey will be sent to members within the next few weeks.

The League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust has engaged the services of Segal, a technology consulting firm, to help the Trust evaluate the types and range of cyber exposures faced by members. Segal will give the Trust advice on how to mitigate those exposures, prioritize loss control resources, and identify the types of resources that will allow the Trust to provide effective member services.

Understanding members’ cyber exposures is a key component of the evaluation. Within the next few weeks, the Insurance Trust will send a cybersecurity survey to all members’ technology manager, risk manager, or top appointed official.

The data collected will not affect things like premium rates or underwriting actions. It is simply being collected so the Trust can better understand the cyber exposures facing all Trust members, and how the Trust can best provide coverage and effective cyber loss control services.

Thank you in advance for participating in this survey. If you have questions or comments regarding this project, contact Tom Kelley, technology solutions manager, at (651) 268-6998 or tkelley@lmc.org.
