This course focuses on strategies for supporting well-being for city leaders and the teams they support. During times of unprecedented challenge, supporting well-being and wellness for ourselves and our teams helps to keep us motivated, focused, and resilient. This helps our teams to tackle the unexpected and allows us as leaders to remain connected and focused in our work. Developed in partnership with the University of Minnesota Extension, this course shares some approaches to well-being that are accessible and applicable to all.
By completing this course, you will:
- Understand how the six factors of the PERMA-V Model influence an individual’s well-being.
- See how your peers in other cities have approached well-being and wellness within their city.
- Know the six drivers of burnout and the resulting three dimensions that are exhibited due to stress and overload.
