All municipalities that adopt and enforce the State Building Code, regardless of population, are required to complete and submit a Municipal Fee and Expense Report to the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). During this webinar you will learn about the report and find out what you need to know to complete each section. Hear directly from DLI as they provide an update on reporting and share instructions to help you document construction and development-related fees and expenses associated with building code enforcement.

At the end of the session participants will understand:

  1. The purpose of a Municipal Fee and Expense Report.
  2. What must be reported and which municipalities must submit a report.
  3. How to complete and submit the report.
