Invest in your skills to LEAD.
Because of COVID-19 concerns and after considering the guidance of the Minnesota Department of Health, the League of Minnesota Cities, together with the Association of Minnesota Counties, Sourcewell, and Metropolitan State University, has decided to cancel all sessions taking place in March. Registrants will be contacted by the League and offered a refund. In addition, we will make a decision by the end of this week as to whether the April Time to Lead series will continue or be rescheduled. The health and safety of our members, staff, and speakers are our first priorities. Please check back here for the latest information.

Registration for a new LEAD Academy cohort has opened, with courses starting in 2020. Taking part in this professional development course will help you build a great foundation as you start, or prepare for, a role in local government supervision.

During LEAD Academy courses, you will:

To earn the LEAD Academy Public Sector Supervisor Certificate you will need to take part in four mini-series, each focusing on a specific skill area:
- Time to Lead: refine your leadership style.

Each mini-certificate consists of three courses, and you must register for the entire mini-certificate.
