During this week’s first Zoom session, join a panel of three experienced elected officials: Brad Wiersum, Mayor, Minnetonka & LMC Board President; D. Love, Mayor, Centerville & LMC First Vice President; and Andrea Lauer, Mayor, Royalton. You’ll be able to ask questions and hear advice on city related issues.

In this final part of the Elected Leaders Institute, you will join Chad Weinstein, Ph.D., president of Ethical Leaders in Action. You’ll explore how a clear sense of purpose is a critical leadership tool, enabling leaders to sustain themselves and to persuade and engage others in pursuit of common goals. This interactive session will present practical skills and techniques such as ethical persuasion, an approach drawn from the tradition of servant leadership that is effective for changing minds while strengthening relationships and using fair process principles in civic discussions to build trust.
