Find the answers and guidance to what lies ahead for community economic development
Join other city and county leaders for a six-week online course focused on economic health and resiliency. Educators from the University of Minnesota Extension’s Center for Community Vitality will address business retention, economic recovery, and transformation.
Take part in this cohort to:
- Learn about business retention, recovery, and transformation for local economies.
- Build a network of peers navigating change during uncertain times.
- Strengthen confidence and ability to address difficult or polarizing issues.
- Consider racial and socio-economic equity in economic transformation.
Who should attend?
City administrators, managers, clerks, elected officials, and community/economic development staff in cities with populations between 1,000-15,000.
This six-week program will feature cohort-based learning. You will participate in all six sessions alongside the same city and county officials to create a collaborative learning environment where you can build skills and network together.
