Association of Minnesota Counties (AMC)

AMC assists the state’s 87 counties in providing effective county governance to the people of Minnesota. AMC works closely with the legislative and administrative branches of government in seeing that legislation and policies favorable to counties are enacted. AMC also provides educational programs, training, research and communications for county officials.

Minnesota School Boards Association (MSBA)

MSBA’s mission is to support, promote and enhance the work of public school boards. MSBA was founded in 1920 and is the eighth oldest school board organization in the United States. The work of the MSBA includes the following areas: Administration/Governance, Board Development/Training, Public Relations/Communications, Governmental Relations, Management Services, and Policy Services.

Minnesota Association of Townships (MAT)

MAT is a nonprofit corporation representing Minnesota townships. The Association is a voluntary organization with 99 percent participation, generally provided through membership in a County Township Association. The County Township Associations provide a forum for disseminating information and for resolving local problems.
