State of the Cities Reports
The annual State of the Cities report provides highlights from the League's fiscal conditions survey of member cities. The survey, based in part on a National League of Cities survey, asks cities to report on their revenue shortfalls, budget pressures, and budget-balancing strategies. The report also features research into timely issues affecting the financial health of cities across the state.
- The 2009 report focuses on city fiscal conditions and economic trends, including the financial crisis, foreclosures, and financing city street maintenance.
