The forms are now due on March 2.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has issued Notice 2016-70, giving employers additional time to deliver Form 1095-C and Form 1095-B to employees. These are forms that may be needed for employees to complete their 2016 income tax returns.

Instead of Jan. 31, 2017, the forms are now due March 2, 2017. The requirement applies only to employers covered by the Affordable Care Act, and the extension only covers tax year 2016. There are no extensions to file Forms 1094-B and 1094-C.

The League has updated its employment-related calendar to reflect these revised deadlines.
