2010 Safety & Loss Control Workshops

The 2010 Safety & Loss Control Workshops provide staff throughout your city the chance to get valuable information on how to avoid costly claims and minimize expenses if a loss should occur.

During these half-day workshops, city officials and staff will:

  • Get tips and ideas to help stretch city resources and budgets.
  • Learn from experts in specific safety and loss control areas.
  • Network with peers from neighboring cities.
  • Discuss common safety challenges and solutions.

Fee: $20 (Includes materials, lunch)

Cancellation Policy: Refunds will only be given to those who cancel seven days in advance of the workshop.

Credits

  • The morning Police Track is approved for 3 POST credits. Officers who also attend an afternoon track will receive a total of 6 POST credits.
  • The morning Public Works Track is approved for 3 related water operator hours, and 3 indirect wastewater contact hours. Operators who attend an afternoon track will earn a total of 5 indirect wastewater contact hours.
  • LMCIT is seeking continuing education credits for insurance agents.
